Field of action: Sustainable innovation - RIS3 strategies

Project description: The project aims to improve local policies in order to support innovation ecosystems within the regional strategies of smart specialization (RIS3). The project has a twofold objective: on one hand, it intends to enhance the connection between RIS3 and local policies in support of innovation, highlighting the role of the "territory" as a place where interconnections and knowledge flows are generated; on the other hand, the project aims to improve the role of local authorities as intermediaries and coordinators of innovation ecosystems, in order to generate strong interactions between key players and to facilitate the transfer of innovation and knowledge produced by universities and research centers to local businesses.
